TEA PARTY CAUCUS ON CAPITOL HILL

Please read the filling article about the strength and necessity of the Tea Party Caucus on Capitol Hill, then contact each legislator to encourage them, remind them that there are grassroots conservatives who support their efforts AND to remind them to be faithful within the causes.

http://ttpmail.theteaparty.net/webmail/16542/1790671539/08e462dca4faca6fb690da3534ee63b9

Here is the contact information:

Liberals will win

UPDATE: We are 3 million strong and we have not made enough of an impact today! We need YOU to call and email as many of these Representatives on this list as you can, whether or not you live in their district! These Senators and Representatives were elected in large part because of Tea Party support. Let them know that YOU are keeping tabs on what they are doing in DC! If we are to continue this effort on the Hill we need your support and your donations. Please donate what you can afford to these efforts!

Dear Patriot:

The Tea Party Caucus is back together on Capitol Hill set to meet once every quarter starting this Thursday April 25th at 5:30 pm EST! At the request of the Tea Party Caucus House Leader Michele Bachmann, we have joined efforts with her team to organize quarterly Tea Party meetings on Capitol Hill with all of the Senators and House members that are part of the Tea Party Caucus. After the Tea Party stormed into Washington D.C. in 2010 with overwhelming victories, the liberals and liberal media has pounded on the millions of decent Americans in the Tea Party movement to try to diminish our success. Part of that included trying to shut down the Tea Party Caucus meetings with Congressmen/women and Senators on Capitol Hill. We will not let that stand! That is why we are working with Michele Bachmann’s office and all the Tea Party Representatives and Senators to assure quality, informative meetings and attendance. The Representatives and Senators will meet each quarter with representatives from TheTeaParty.net as well as many of the other national tea party and conservative organizations. The purpose is to show our solidarity for supporting the U.S. Constitution and its founding principles of limited government, free markets and personal responsibility and to discuss specific issues that are important to YOU!

We do several surveys each month so we can bring your ideas and opinions to Congress at each meeting. We will be discussing things like the Benghazi investigation, 2nd Amendment rights, cutting out of control spending, reforming entitlement spending, replacing the current tax system with a better solution and much, much more. We have a five person Tea Party Advocacy Team that works on Capitol Hill for “We The People” and what is important to you. That advocacy team includes former six-term Congressman J.D. Hayworth who is TheTeaParty.net National Advisor. In addition, the D.C. team has TheTeaParty.net Chief Strategist and frequent Fox News analyst Niger Innis, Bob Adams a longtime D.C. activist and co-founder of League of American Voters and myself, Todd Cefaratti the founder of TheTeaParty.net.

For this to be successful, starting this Thursday and every quarter after, we MUST have your help. We have over 3 million loyal patriots that follow TheTeaParty.net. If every activist took just a few minutes once a quarter to do just two things, the Tea Party movement would enable freedom loving Americans to TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY that is currently attempting to be “fundamentally changed” as President Obama has so often proudly spoken of.

Here are the 2 simple things we need all patriots to do immediately today and from now on to assure the attendance and success of the revitalized Tea Party Caucus meetings on Capitol Hill:

1. Show your support by donating what you can today and each month so these Caucus meetings succeed. TheTeaParty.net is a grassroots nonprofit 501 c4 organization and we are not funded by billionaires, labor unions or special interest corporations. We are funded by regular every day moms, dads, grandparents and citizens that love America and want to do their part to save our Constitution and freedoms we were founded on. We will only go as far as the American people will take us. We know times are tough, so donate whatever you can afford today and each month. If you gave up one fast food meal per month to instead help your country, you could be the difference. Donate HERE.

2. Please call your own Congressman and Senators in your state and also in as many other states as possible from the list below today at 202-224-3121. Also please email them as well with the emails provided below. When you reach them or their staff tell them you are VERY excited about the new quarterly Tea Party Caucus meetings in the Capitol and that you are looking forward to them attending each quarter! This will assure that they know that 3 million of you are watching and that it is important that they attend this Thursday and every meeting after. We will be taking attendance each meeting and any Representatives and Senators that are in the Tea Party Caucus that do not show without a reason, we will encourage you to call them each time to find out why they are not attending. Again, please call your Representative and Senators from the list below and as many other states as you can to encourage them all to attend. Please be very positive and encouraging.

WORK IS A GOOD THING, NOT A NECESSARY EVIL

Not everyone who is poor is lazy and not everyone without a job is lazy. But everyone who believes that "work" is not necessary is uninformed or misguided and is most probably poor and without a job.

Think about these 5 statements:

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

No nation can sustain itself and ultimately survive if the majority of its citizens come to believe that they do not have to work because the government will take care of them.

NEW COLLEGE BOARD PRESIDENT AND NEW SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE TEST (SAT)

With a new president in place and new Common Core Standards in the majority of public schools across the nation, the predictions are coming to pass.  A new SAT College Board Test will be implemented, mirroring the standards of the common core.  This will not only impact public schools, but charter schools, private and religious schools as well as home schools.

Read the article:

NEW SAT

FATHER OF COMMON CORE NEW COLLEGE BOARD PRESIDENT

FATHER OF COMMON CORE NEW COLLEGE BOARD PRESIDENT
David Coleman, mastermind of the Common Core Standards, was named President of the College Board last week. As predicted, this will put him in the drivers seat to implement the Common Core dynamic into the College Board national tests. The handwriting is on the wall for private and homeschooled students subject to college tests such as the SAT. The Common Core Standard of arriving at mathematical answers as well as science and history driven texts will be dramatically altered from previous norms and will even require that public school teachers go through rigorous re-education to teach these new standards.

In addition, it has been announced that the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) for college entrance will be revised under David Colemen's watch. In competition with the ACT for years, the new SAT president has the responsibility of making this new test a better option than the ACT, if the SAT is to stay ahead of the competition.  What better way to do that than to change the Core Standards of education by federal mandate, and then to preside over the changes that will be made to the SAT in compliance with COMMON CORE STANDARDS.  Anyone smell a rat?

In the article regarding the new SAT test, Coleman says: "The next changes would help students and colleges by "focusing on a core set of knowledge and skills that are essential to college and career success; reinforcing the practice of enriching
and valuable schoolwork; fostering greater opportunities for students to make successful transitions into postsecondary education; and ensuring equity and fairness."

Americans who are interested in States rights and fairness in the implementation of education to young minds, should arm themselves with information about the facts relating to COMMON CORE STANDARDS.

DEMOCRATIC VICTIMIZATION OF AMERICA

Fellow Conservaties,
Please read the following article and pass it on to others as well as the following invitation. Our job is to locate the scores of individuals who do not play the victim card, the race card or the America is too far gone card. We've got to find, unite and mobilize the "God Bless America" crowd and have our common sense voices drown out the insanity of the "Government is savior" crowd! Read this article and invite some likeminded conservatives to come to our Precinct Power meeting this Monday, April 22 at 6:30pm, Athens, 30606

Why a Solution Will Destroy the Democratic Party
(By TOWNHALL Columnist, Scottie Hughes)

We have problems in America. The most obvious is a busted budget, an overtaxed citizenry (at least for the 53% who pay into the system), another push on gun control, a broken immigration system, a socialist healthcare model and gay marriage rights. The litany of challenges we face goes on. They plague our political discourse with negativity and dissension.

This in a country that can find cures for certain cancers, use technology to discover new galaxies, and perhaps most stunning to this parent, a country that create devices that can hold my children’s attention for more than an hour. And yet why can’t we find a solution to these never ending arguments?

It’s simple, really. Those on the left don’t want America to find a solution! They thrive and survive on the concept of making sure there will always be a victim.

A solution would bring peace. A solution would bring harmony. A solution would also be devastating to the Democratic Party, which thrives on misery and conflict.

Take immigration. The left loves to reignite the immigration debate, if for no other reason than they practically hear the 12 million illegals registering as Democrats every time they hurl around the word “amnesty.” Then they try and invoke sadness by telling stories of families ripped apart by our border, unable to celebrate holidays together because anchor provisions don’t exist. Last, they appeal to our ego by saying American citizens don’t want to do the work these migrant workers perform.

The Republicans play into their trap by offering half-measure solutions and “compromises” which cause major splintering within our own party. Great Tea Party supporters like Sen. Marco Rubio are instantly demonized despite their almost perfect Conservative track record except in this issue.

The truth is the main reason why immigrants aren't going home is because of legislation like this. We are incentivizing people to break the law, just like the 1986 immigration "reform" bill did.

I have sympathy for those who want to become Americans, and those who are here. But I also have sympathy for the hundreds of thousands around the world who want to come here legally. They wait for hours at consulates, go through lotteries, and sometimes that takes years. Why should they go to the back of the line?

Imagine someone breaks into your home and then the police show up and say they can stay because they can't do anything about. Is that going to encourage criminals or discourage them? If we're not a nation of law and order and process than we're not really a nation. It's said the reason we need to pass this law is because we are ineffective at enforcing our existing laws. That's a sad commentary on America.

Gun control is one issue that should unify the Republican base. The other side’s playbook is as tired as it is predictable. There is the constant grandstanding with victim’s family members of mass shootings. What we have yet to see is any press conference held on an inner city street corner with gang members vowing to turn in their handguns.

The playbook also requires trotting out easily punctured myths. Take for example the gun show loophole.” A Bureau of Justice Statistics report on “Firearms Use by Offenders” found that fewer than 1% of U.S. “crime guns” came from gun shows, with repeat offenders even less likely than first-timers to buy guns from any retail source. Gun shows are touted by the left (and right) as a problem- but they’re not.

Pro-gun legislators often will say they’re not looking to ban private sales; they just want background checks to occur. But again, how can a sale be a private sale if it must first be run through a federal agency? But more pressing than any other question, how can ANY of these measures would have or could have stopped Sandy Hook? The gun used was grandfathered in and exempt from an “assault weapons” ban that had been in place in Connecticut since 1994, the mother was allowed to have it. Days before the killing, the shooter went to a Dick’s Sporting Goods to buy a rifle and was denied- the current system worked. He went home, killed his mother and used her gun.

No matter what happens, the left will continue to paint conservatives as bloodthirsty and heartless. The ironic part is that we hear silence from the left when the issue of killing unborn children is raised. Only through the intrepid efforts of a few citizen journalists on the right did Americans ever hear the name Kermit Gosnell.

What would the left do if Republicans proposed a series of bills that gave them everything they have been wishing for yet because the Republicans proposed it, we would get all the credit with the different demographic groups? Would the left fight us as we gave them back a taste of their own medicine, as the Democratic Party would be in certain chaos? I predict we would see that exact same problem occur on the left that is now happening on the right. Infighting, division, demonization, and ultimately implosion would eventually occur, as the Democratic Party would not be able to exist without the concept of a victim. The only problem would be that if we accepted the complete liberal agenda as they propose, America as we know it today would be the ultimate victim.

ONE MAN'S STORY: FAMILY MEMBER KILLED HIS FAMILY

Guns don't kill. People do. A gun is an inanimate object This man's family was killed by a man who lied on every gun form he filled out. The government had five different times to catch him on a background check, and none of them alerted anyone to his instability. Why do we need more laws when the laws on the books are not enforced?

THAT INVISIBLE BOUNDARY CALLED COMFORT ZONE

We all have it and we all honor and cherish it. What IS IT? It is the unseen gated community of our very own self described COMFORT ZONE. It is a very powerful emotional fence that protects us from having to face experiences that show us the path of growth and dimension. A first cousin of "fear," the comfort is the second greatest inhibitor to personal, emotional and spiritual success.

WKIPEDIA, though not your best source for accurate history, science or even biography, occasionally provides some useful and even motivational information. Such is the following quote from WIKIPEDIA regarding the term "COMFORT ZONE."
WIKI states:

"The comfort zone is a behavioural state within which a person operates in an anxiety-neutral condition, using a limited set of behaviours to deliver a steady level of performance, usually without a sense of risk (White 2009).[1] A person's personality can be described by his or her comfort zones. Highly successful persons may routinely step outside their comfort zones, to accomplish what they wish. A comfort zone is a type of mental conditioning that causes a person to create and operate mental boundaries. Such boundaries create an unfounded sense of security. Like inertia, a person who has established a comfort zone in a particular axis of his or her life, will tend to stay within that zone without stepping outside of it. To step outside their comfort zone, a person must experiment with new and different behaviours, and then experience the new and different responses that occur within their environment."

This false sense of security that dwelling within your comfort zone creates leads one to believe that they can live anxiety free if they adhere to this emotional electric fence. Bit the truth is, my comfort zone only works to keep me locked in. It does nothing to look out the very things that cause anxiety. A comfort zone is a mirage, a prison cell with emotions for bars and phantom guards . It is an imaginary life that is nothing more than a mirage.

AMERICA: THE RISE AND FALL OF REASON

During his 1956 presidential campaign, a woman called out to Adlai Stevenson:

"Senator, you have the vote of every thinking person!"
Stevenson called back: "That's not enough, madam, we need a majority!"

Truer words were never spoken.

The quote is taken from a blog post by Rabbi Pruzansky titled "The Rise and Fall of the American empire. The words the Rabbi penned are compelling and on target.

A REPUBLIC COMPARED TO A DEMOCRACY

WHAT IS A REPUBLIC?
WHAT IS A DEMOCRACY?
DO YOU KNOW?

Take time to read this insightful article below.  You will be surprised at the very compelling difference in these two words.  More than words, they are concepts.  More than concepts, they are ideals.  More than ideals...
they are (or may be eventually, in the case of Democracy) WHAT WE KNOW AS AMERICA.
