ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
Note:  We have watched as the nation goes the way of California in many initiatives that originate there.  We need to be diligent to watch other states as they approve and implement policies that ultimately affect the country.

CONTACT GOVERNOR BROWN:  Let him know that California is a trend setter in the US and has a moral obligation to implement policies that are best for not only California but the nation as well.  This Bill (AB 4) would handcuff the very law enforcement that is sworn to uphold the law.  We urge you to consider the widespread outcome of signing a bill that hinder the enforcement of immigration law in California, because a weak law will prove to be negligence and have a negative effect on the nation as a whole.

The bill (AB 4), authored by Assemblyman Tom Ammiano (D-San Francisco), would limit local law enforcement's role in working with federal authorities to begin deportation proceedings.
